On 10/21/24 at 11:41 a.m., Walmart employee Kristen R. Sonneville (55) took merchandise off the rack and returned it for $171.30. On 11/7/24, Walmart completed their internal investigation and called deputies. Sonneville was arrested and released on an appearance ticket.

 

Burg 3rd / GL 3rd / Empire Blvd. / 24-200994

Between 11/8/24 at 3:00 p.m. and 11-10-24 at 6:00 a.m., an unknown suspect entered the above location, which is being remodeled and stole various tools.

 

PL / Walmart 1990 Brandt Point / 24-202060

On 11-12-24 at 5:43 p.m., Tracy L. Kelly (38) stole $188 in steaks. He was apprehended by Loss Prevention and turned over to deputies. APT issued.

 

PL / Wegmans 1955 Empire Blvd. / 24-202204

On 11/12/24 at 11:36 p.m., deputies responded to the above location for a larceny in progress. Jose Diaz-Gonzalez (35) exited the store with merchandise (value $245). Diaz-Gonzalez ran from deputies and was taken into custody after a brief foot chase. Diaz-Gonzalez was arrested for Petit Larceny.

Burglary / Brentbrook Cir. / 24-204378

On 11/15/2024 between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 11:20 p.m., unknown suspects broke into the victim’s residence and stole items.

Perinton 

GL 4th Arrest / Little Spring Run / 24-197463

A homeowner had flooring contractors in her house doing work. After they left, she discovered jewelry was stolen from her jewelry box. Deputy Moesch initiated an investigation, and he interviewed the owner of the flooring business, who was cooperative. Deputy Moesch identified a suspect; Dartanieyne L. Best (34 yoa). On 11-13-24 Best was charged with Grand Larceny 4th. Dep Moesch was able to recover most of the victim’s jewelry. Best was issued an appearance ticket and released in accordance with NYS law.

Pittsford

ID Theft 3rd Unlawful Use of Credit Card / the Del Monte Lodge 41 N Main St. / 24-200995

On 11/11/24 at 7:17 a.m., the victim reported there was an unauthorized transaction on his credit card at the above location. An unknown individual used the victim’s credit card to rent a room. The guest was identified as Camron Lamar Odell Lewis (21). Cameron was charged with the above crimes and issued an APT.  

 

Burg 3rd / GL 3rd / CM 3rd / Brighton Animal Hospital 723 Linden Ave. / 24-201708

Between 11/11/24 at 9:00 p.m. and 11/12/24 at 7:00 a.m., an unknown suspect(s) used an unknown type vehicle to drive into the garage door and steal various items (lawn equipment to include a snow blower). Unknown suspect(s) also pulled open the shed doors by force and stole a new laundry dryer.

Between 11/11/24 at 5:00 p.m. and 11/12/24 at 4:30 a.m., an unknown suspect(s) entered a Ryder Rental Truck and stole a portable speaker and a universal cell phone charging cord. 

PL Arrest / Wegmans 3195 Monroe Ave. / 24-169250

On 9-23-24 at 2:39 p.m., an unknown female suspect stole $195.12 in crab and lobster before fleeing in a 2017 Honda CRV. Deputy Wilsey identified Essence Lewis (38 yoa) as the one who committed the crime. On 11-18-24, she was charged with Petit Larceny and released on an appearance ticket.

 

GL 4th Arrest / Heather Heights 160 West Jefferson / 24-129462

On 7-25-24, a resident at the above address discovered his credit card was missing from his wallet he keeps in the desk drawer of his room. Upon logging into his account, he discovered six fraudulent charges occurred at various locations through the City of Rochester between 7/20/24 and 7/22/24. Deputy Smegelsky conducted a lengthy investigation and identified Sanitra S. Yeomas (34 yoa). On 11-18-24 Yeomas was arrested for Grand Larceny 4th, issued an appearance ticket and released in accordance with NYS law.

Henrietta

Petit Larceny / 947 Lehigh Station Rd. (UPS) / 24-198571

On 11/07/24, deputies responded to the above location for a customer trouble report. A UPS Security Investigator reports numerous empty UPS packages were located inside the ceiling tiles of the men’s upstairs restroom. The packages had originally contained electronic devices that were supposed to be sent out for delivery. UPS identified an employee as having been assigned the missing packages, which were likely stolen between November 3rd and 5th. The security video showed the employee taking boxes off the conveyor belt and leaving his work area with them.

On 11/08/24 between 2:15 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., an unknown suspect stole the victim’s black 2018 Kia Sorrento from the above parking lot.

 

Stolen Vehicle / Wegmans (745 Calkins Rd) / 24-199465

On 11/08/24 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., an unknown suspect stole the victim’s gray 2016 Kia Sorrento. 

 

PL/Criminal Mischief / Pinnacle Rd. / 24-200390

On 11/10/24 an unknown person broke out the passenger side window of a vehicle and stole items from inside the car. The incident appeared to take place during the overnight hours. 

Criminal Mischief 3rd / Red Lion Rd. / 24-201086

On November 11, 2024, between 3:00 a.m. and 9:48 a.m., a suspect whose identity is unknown smashed the window of the victim's vehicle. According to the victim, the damage extended to the paint on the door, window trim and leather seats. Nothing was taken from the car. The victim just wanted documentation.

 

Robbery 1st/ Grand Larceny 4th / Green Moor Way / 24-201245

On 11/11/24, deputies responded to the above location for the report of a robbery.  A Green Moor Way Apartment employee (V) reports he was working inside building 99 when he was suddenly approached by two young males. The first suspect (S1) was wearing a black ski mask and all black clothing. The second suspect (S2) was wearing a black ski mask, red beanie and all black clothing. S2 grabbed the victim by the collar of his shirt, while holding up a silver butterfly knife, and stated “give me all your stuff.”  While doing so, S2 stole the victim’s wallet, Invicta watch ($700), Marine Corps dog tags, and iPhone 13 ($800). The suspects then fled the area on foot towards Veteran’s Memorial Park. A K-9 track was conducted with negative results. The investigation is ongoing.

 

Criminal Mischief 3rd / 2011 E Henrietta Rd. / 24-200960

On November 11th, 2024, at 3:37 a.m., deputies were called to the location regarding three suspicious men in black clothing and masks.  The males reportedly arrived in a four door sedan that had a headlight out. Upon deputies’ arrival, the suspects were seen rummaging through a silver pick-up truck. The suspects immediately fled the area in a silver BMW sedan (unknown license plate) with the passenger side headlight out. Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the driver refused to stop. Deputies eventually lost sight of the vehicle on Mt Hope Avenue near Byron St. Contact was made with a victim, who stated the suspects had broken out the passenger side window of his vehicle and attempted to break into his safes. The suspects were unable to gain access to the safes, but did damage them during the attempted break in.

According to the victim, an unknown suspect shattered her car's passenger window with a cinder block between 8:00 p.m. on November 11th and 8:10 a.m. on November 12th.

A Burlington employee reports on 11/12/24, an unknown male with a face covering, gray jacket, black pants and black beanie entered the store and stole four winter coats. 

 

Petit Larceny / Brookside Dr. / 24-199236

On 11/13/24, deputies responded to the above location for a delayed larceny report. On 11/04/24, at 2:07 p.m., a car jack and socket wrench set left on the driveway was stolen by an unknown suspect, according to the victim. Security camera showed a 50-60-year-old man with white hair arrive at the location in a dark gray van and steal his property. 

C Zone

Chili

Criminal Mischief 3rd / Meadow Farm N. / 24-198734

Sometime between 4:00 p.m. on 11/6/24 and 7:00 a.m. on 11/7/24, an unknown suspect or suspects damaged the rear driver's side window of the victim’s 2024 Kia Seltor. A diaper bag just inside the window appears to have been rummaged through, but nothing was stolen. Patrols should be aware of the increasing frequency in damage to vehicles (likely attempts to steal said vehicles) during hours of darkness in the Meadow Farm area. 

Sweden

Fire – Unknown Cause / Redman Rd. (Sweden Town Park) / 24-195245

On 11/1/24 at 11:17 p.m., deputies responded to the above address for the report of a fire in the woods. Upon arrival, deputies observed an active fire near the lodge building with the pond. The reporting person states he entered Sweden Town Park at about 8:00 p.m. and observed an older blue Ford, possibly a Fusion, parked near one of the lodges. That was the only vehicle in the park, and he observed a large forest fire, roughly 800ft north of where the Ford had been parked. The reporting person did not observe any other individuals in the park and did not see how the fire started.

 

GL 4th / Petit Larceny / Fourth Section Rd. / 24-195992

On 11/3/24 at about 8:15 a.m., the victim was selecting items in the bakery at Wegmans and had her purse sitting in the shopping cart behind her. She did not realize an unknown man wearing a black baseball hat, dark pants, and a green/black checked flannel had pushed her cart away and began rummaging through her purse. She located the cart in the meat and deli area and she discovered $400.00 cash and her Brockport Federal Credit Union debit card were missing from her purse.

A Walmart loss prevention employee reports on 11/6/24 at 4:26 p.m., he observed a female approximately 25 years old with black hair stealing various items from the store. The female exited the store and got into a white Chevy 4-door sedan bearing an unknown state license plate.

 

Grand Larceny 3rd / Brockport Spencerport Rd. / 24-200513

The victim reports he placed his belongings in an unlocked locker at Planet Fitness on 11/10/24 around 10:45 in the morning. When he went to retrieve them, he found his car keys were missing and his 2012 Toyota RAV4 was missing from the parking lot.

Clarkson

Burglary 3rd/PL / Roosevelt Hwy. / 24-173647

From 10/1/24 Daily: The victim reports sometime between midnight on 8/24/24 and 2:30 p.m. on 9/30/24, an unknown suspect entered his detached garage and stole his Stihl 390 Chainsaw w/ 25” bar ($750 value). He works between Rochester and Syracuse on a regular basis and did not notice the saw was missing until recently. However, he claims he had a conversation regarding chainsaws with a former co-worker of his in the last month, and he found this to be suspicious.

Update: Deputies developed Michael Matsumoto Jr., the aforementioned former co-worker, as a suspect and responded to Michael’s house where his father showed deputies where Michael Jr. keeps his chainsaw. The saw matched the make, model and serial number of the stolen saw. Michael Jr. returned home while deputies were on scene and he was detained without incident. He was transported to C Zone, charged with CPSP 5 and released with an appearance ticket.

Parma

CPW 4th / Fed. Probation Warrant / West Ave. / 24-194154

At 6:00 a.m. on October 31, 2024, Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a search warrant at a residence on West Avenue in the Village of Hilton. This was the product of a lengthy investigation into the criminal behavior of two convicted felons and their illegal possession of firearms. Deputies detained the two suspects and found various unsecured firearms inside the house, which included a loaded AR-15 rifle with a high-capacity magazine, a defaced, loaded .22 pistol, a loaded 20-gauge shotgun and a loaded .410 shotgun. Two women and two children living in the house were not charged. Several motorcycles, two of which are determined to be stolen, a dirt bike, a four-wheeler, and an SUV are being held for further investigation.

Christopher A. Bosley, 54, of Hilton is charged with:

  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class C-Felony)
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (Class D-Felony) (4 Counts)
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree (Class A-Misdemeanor) (2 Counts)

Jensen R. Gonzalez, 36, of Hilton is charged with:

  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree (Class A-Misdemeanor)

Bosley was arraigned in Parma Town Court and remanded to the Monroe County Jail on $50,000 cash or $200,000 bond.

Gonzalez was issued an appearance ticket for the above charge and is being detained in the Monroe County Jail as a result of a federal probation warrant.

The coordination among MCSO SWAT, the Drone Response Team, investigators, and deputies during a high-risk arrest, ensuring the safety of the community and residents, is deserving of recognition.

Spencerport

Criminal Mischief 4th / S. Union St. / 24-195530

Deputies responded to a road rage incident in the C Zone on November 2nd, 2024 at around 1:00 PM. The victim was driving his 2018 Honda Accord westbound on Rt. 531. As he passed a white 2016 BMW and the driver of that vehicle “flicked him off,” swerved toward his vehicle, and then continued to follow him as he drove to the C Zone parking lot. The passenger, Destiny Middleton, exited the BMW and began to punch and kick the victim’s vehicle. Middleton admitted to these actions and justified them by alleging the victim was brake-checking the BMW on 531. The damaged caused to the Honda is estimated at $200. Middleton was arrested and released with an appearance ticket.
