MCSO INVESTIGATORS MAKE ARREST IN HILTON SHOOTING

Hilton, NY (September 2, 2021) – On September 1, 2021 at 9:37 p.m., Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Village II Dr., Hilton for the report of a person shot following a neighbor dispute. Upon arrival, deputies located Craig Longinotti, 27, Hilton with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Longinotti was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. Mr. Longinotti is currently listed in guarded condition.

MCSO’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene. Investigators located Tyler Pitcher, 24, Hilton and took him into custody without incident. Pitcher is charged with Assault 1st (Class B- Felony) and Criminal Use of a Firearm 1st (Class B- Felony). Pitcher was arraigned in Parma Town Court and remanded to the Monroe County Jail on $20K cash bail/$40K bond/$80K partially secured bond. A preliminary hearing is set for September 7, 2021.
