Pittsford, NY (November 30, 2022) The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Wednesday night, on charges of rape at Nazareth College, in the Town of Pittsford.
On November 29, 2022 at about 11:30 at night, Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Nazareth College campus for the report of a rape. A female student went to campus safety and advised them she was raped by a known male. The victim was taken to the hospital by friends. MCSO technicians responded to the hospital. MCSO Major Crimes Unit led the investigation and on November 30, 2022 arrested Joshua Mundia, 19, of Pittsford.
Joshua Mundia is charged with:
- Rape in the Third Degree (Class E-Felony)
Mr. Mundia was arraigned in Pittsford Town Court and remanded to the Monroe County Jail on $10,000 cash, $30,000 bond, $45,000 partially secured bond. An order of protection was issued for the victim and Mundia is banned from Nazareth College.
