Rochester, NY (September 21, 2022) On September 20, 2022 at about 3:00 p.m., a man entered the jail records lobby at 130 South Plymouth Avenue, in the City of Rochester. He brandished a knife and threatened a Jail Bureau professional staff member. Emergency protocols were initiated and the Rochester Police Department took the man into custody.
The man is identified as Curels Walker-Thompson, 27, of Rochester and is charged with:
- Menacing in the Second Degree (Class A-Misdemeanor)
Mr. Walker-Thompson was arraigned in Rochester City Court this morning and released on his own recognizance. Thank you to our partners at the Rochester Police Department for their assistance.
