Henrietta, NY (February 16, 2023) On February 13, 2023 at about 1:10 in the afternoon, Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence on River Meadow Drive in the Town of Henrietta, for the report of a gunpoint robbery. The victim told deputies a man he recognized came to his home, pointed a gun at him and demanded money. The suspect left the area with the money.

Deputies were able to locate the suspect a short time later at his residence in the Town of Greece. MCSO Tactical Unit, Major Crimes Investigators and the U.S. Marshals Service Task Force worked together to take Forrest McHenry, 50, of Greece into custody.

Mr. McHenry is charged with:

  • Burglary in the First Degree (Class B-Felony)
  • Robbery in the First Degree (Class B-Felony).

Forrest McHenry was arraigned in Henrietta Town Court and remanded to the Monroe County Jail on no bail due to his predicate felon status.
