Chili, NY: While on patrol, Monroe County Sheriff's deputies located a stolen vehicle in the Target parking lot on Chili Avenue at about 1:45 in the afternoon on September 15, 2023. When deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, the suspect drove around deputies in an attempt to evade arrest. The car struck the front vestibule of the Target, causing an estimated $46,000 worth of damage. Deputies detained the two men inside of the car and a female who was inside the store attempting to fraudulently return merchandise. The Chili Fire Department responded to evaluate the building structure for safety.

David M. Pierleoni, 37, of Rochester is charged with:

  • Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree (Class D-Felony)
  • Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree (D-Felony)

Jesse Jones, 57, of Rochester is charged with:

  • Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree (Class D-Felony)
  • Five outstanding arrest warrants for Petit Larceny

Sabrina A. Calabrese, 27, of Rochester is charged with:

  • Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree (Class D-Felony)

Mr. Pierleoni was arraigned in Chili Town Court and remanded to the Monroe County Jail without bail due to his predicate felon status. Mr. Jones was issued an appearance ticket for the above charge and his Chili arrest warrant. On Saturday (9/16/23) Mr. Jones was arraigned on a Henrietta arrest warrant and Released on his Own Recognizance. Ms. Calabrese was arraigned in Chili Town Court and Released on her Own Recognizance.

Excellent proactive police work to catch two repeat offenders and recover a stolen vehicle.  We will continue to do everything we can to preserve the sanctity and safety of our communities.
