On August 25, 2023 at 7:58 in the evening, deputies were notified three female larceny suspects driving a black Hyundai were in the area of W. Buffalo St. and N. Main St. in the Village of Churchville. The women, working in concert with one another, stole merchandise from an Ulta Beauty in Amherst, New York. Members of the task force searched the area for the suspect vehicle.

Deputies and Gates Police Officers located the vehicle in the Dollar Tree parking lot in the Town of Gates. Two of the females entered the store and task force members detained them as they exited. The third was quickly apprehended as she attempted to run away on Chili Avenue. The preliminary investigation revealed all of the females have multiple outstanding warrants for arrest from numerous law enforcement agencies. Investigators determined the vehicle they were driving was a stolen rental car.

Kashmonay U. Holley, 24, of Rochester is charged with:

  • Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree (Class D-Felony)
     She is a suspect in 14 reported larcenies across New York State, with an estimated loss of $98,000.

Shekeyla M. Callahan, 30, of Rochester is charged with:

  • Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree (Class D-Felony)
    She is a suspect in 3 larcenies across New York State, with an estimated loss of $23,000.

Nahzaire N. Murray, 23, of Rochester is charged with:

  • Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree (Class D-Felony)
    She is a suspect in 42 larcenies across New York State, with an estimated loss of $198,000.

Deputies turned the women over to the New York State Police to answer for their warrants. This significant arrest is another testament to the excellent teamwork of local law enforcement.
